In 2000 , the OEM manufacturing model was gradually introduced to China. Leveraging its existing resources with first- and second-tier brand clients specializing in gas appliance components, Hopson established a water heater OEM factory. In 2005 , Hopson formed technical alliances with Japan and Germany to develop ODM manufacturing products and talent, committing to technological innovation and promoting the healthy development of the industry.
In 2007 , Horisun increased its investment and expanded its production capacity, relocating its Shunde production base to Dongfeng, Zhongshan, where it was completed and put into operation, generating an output value of approximately 100 million yuan that year. At the same time, it established an ODM gas stove factory, creating a professional enterprise specializing in the research and development and manufacturing of complete gas stoves, based on Horisun's expertise in the research and development and manufacturing of gas stove combustion systems.
In 2008 , Hopson was awarded the title of "China's Gas Appliance Combustion System R&D and Manufacturing Base" by the China National Hardware Association, thanks to its strong R&D and manufacturing capabilities. This was the first honor awarded to a Chinese company, setting a precedent in the industry. In 2010 , Hopson established an ODM range hood factory, gradually forming a complete kitchen appliance industry chain. In 2012 , Hopson launched "Focusing on Service-Oriented Manufacturing, Becoming a Global Industry Benchmark," providing customers with high-quality products and services through a comprehensive service concept and professional manufacturing. The company implements a "person-order integration" system, sparing no effort in improving the company's quality, innovation, and service.
To break the foreign monopoly, in 2014 , Hopson partnered with Japanese experts to develop and produce gas proportional valves, a core component for gas-fired constant-temperature water heaters and wall-hung boilers, achieving import substitution and providing the domestic market with high-quality, cost-effective components . On the occasion of its 30th anniversary, Hopson formulated a development strategy of "building a healthy kitchen appliance technology industry" based on market demands. This strategy positions Hopson's two main industries—the core components industry for gas appliances and the complete healthy kitchen appliance industry—to develop in parallel, competing with each other and fostering mutual growth.
